Wet-ground, sieved and deflocculated in Saon, CO221 is the casting slip in our white stoneware range, supplied in 10 kg buckets. A distinct preparation from GE221 and GE222 plastic clay bodies.

Which clays should you compare for your project?
A white base
Distinguish white earthenware from white stoneware, then compare grain and decoration tests.
A red clay body
Compare Normande Red with BECK Brick Red. Noron adds another clay family with a different firing range.
A dark surface
Start with temperature: black earthenware and dark stoneware require different firing cycles.
Warm or stone-toned stoneware
Havana brown, stone or reddish sand: also choose a preparation to suit your intended texture.
