Since 1889
In Saon (14330), beside Noron-la-Poterie in Normandy, Raoult & Fils has transformed and prepared ceramic clay since 1889. Raoult & Beck now carries this heritage to studios, artists, schools and enthusiasts.
Discover our storyFrom the archives
Plans, models, mosaics, tiles, trials and machinery: these rediscovered images open the Saon factory archives and tell the story of a family craft carried forward.
The factory today
In Saon, the former brickworks buildings and tall chimney remain the everyday setting for production. Ceramic Factory’s large-scale forms continue the connection between Raoult & Beck clay bodies, gesture and place.
